Auction houses in the Netherlands

There are a number of auction houses in the Netherlands which mainly operate locally. They usually have a wide variety of goods, anything from a settee to a complete set of furniture. There are also local and international auction houses which also deal in wines, however, unlike in other countries, the Netherlands did not have a specialist wine and spirit auctioneer.

How Winefield’s Auctioneers started

Winefield’s is the brainchild of Milan Veld, Martin Derksen and the English Master of Wine Mark Savage MW. Winefield’s has combined all the aspects of the wine market into one company which attracts (international) business and private buyers. We have at least 4 wine auctions per year and every auction has around 250 lots, including a large variety of spirits. Most of the auctions are held at our regular location in Amsterdam, but Winefield’s also organises wine auctions and tastings in other locations in the Netherlands. Winefield’s has a broad network of buyers and sellers which means we can offer wines at considerably lower prices than our competitors or which are simply not available anywhere else.

All our catalogues are available on our website and the results of every auction are published on our website directly the auction has closed.

Juist omdat uw kostbare dranken, vaak als verzameling opgebouwd, alle aandacht verdienen werd het hoog tijd dat er een gespecialiseerd veilinghuis op de markt kwam om unieke verzamelingen met gedegen kennis te kunnen veilen. Winefield's is dit eerste gespecialiseerde huis met enkel aandacht voor wijnen en exclusieve dranken, zoals speciale whiskies en cognacs.

Winefields heeft zich ten doel gesteld al uw wijn aan- of verkopen zo eenvoudig en gemakkelijk mogelijk te maken. Natuurlijk moeten er duidelijke regels bestaan over hoe de veiling in zijn werk gaat, maar nu vertaald naar begrijpelijke tekst. Kwaliteit zonder poespas dus.
