PRE-SALE TASTING
Before every Winefields auction there is always a pre-sale tasting. This usually starts around 11:30 am and continues up to the start of the auction. You can examine all the wines to be auctioned and our wine experts will be happy to advise you. The condition of every wine is described in the catalogue, or otherwise described by the auctioneer during the auction itself.


BIDDING DURING THE AUCTION
The auctions start at 12 pm on Sunday or Saturday afternoons. If you are present and would like to bid, you can register and pick up a bidding number at the desk. If you would like to bid for a particular item during the auction you hold your paddle up so your number can be seen clearly by the auction master. Winefield’s auctions per lot: the lot goes to the highest bidder.


ABSENTEE BIDS
Clients who are not able to attend the auction may leave a sealed bid with us. The auction master will try to get the best possible price for you during the auction.


TELEPHONE BIDS
Clients who are not able to attend the auction but would like to bid by phone will be assisted by one of our staff who will bid for you to get the best possible price. Winefield’s is not responsible for any misunderstandings or mistakes made during telephone bids.


AFTER THE AUCTION
All sold lots are exclusive of 20% auction charges. Goods can be paid for and collected directly the auction finishes. Any remaining sold lots must be paid for and collected within 5 days after the auction. You can pay by cash or debit card (with pin number).

LEGAL SUPERSVISION
To make the auction process orderly and transparent, for both the buyers and sellers, all Winefield's auctions in Amsterdam are held under legal supervision by notary Mr. Sandra Viveen from notary office Notea officeWWW.NOTEA.NL
