VALUATIONS

The wine experts at Winefields are happy to give you a valuation on your wines and spirits. Our office is open from 10am to 5pm or call for an appointment. We can also come to you. Our valuations are free and without obligation.

CHARGES

Our auction charges are the best in Amsterdam:

- General sales Commission 10%
- Insurance costs 1.5% of the limit price (if desired)
- Storage charges for unsold items: 60 days free
- Transport costs: agreed individually where applicable
- Promotion costs where applicable: free
- Other costs: agreed individually where applicable

BEFORE AND AFTER THE AUCTION

If you agree with our valuation, we will take and store the wines until the auction. The wines will be kept in our specially acclimatised cellar until the date of the auction. All the wines to be sold are rated, inspected and described in our catalogue to the best of our ability. Winefield’s is not responsible for the actual condition of the wines and any damages resulting from this. The vendors are paid by bank transfer within 30 days of the date of the auction as long as the buyer has paid on time. If the buyer, for whatever reason, is not in a position to pay for the relevant items, Winefield’s retains the right to annul the purchase contract.

LEGAL SUPERSVISION
To make the auction process orderly and transparent, for both the buyers and sellers, all Winefield's auctions in Amsterdam are held under legal supervision by notary Mr Sandra Viveen from notary office Notea in Hilversum.
