Guffens-Heynen is involved in other ventures as well. Maison Verget, as a négociant, is part of their portfolio. They also acquired Château des Tourettes in the Provence in 1997 and Château Cloisot in Sauternes in 2017.
L’If 2020
Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
Previously known as Château La Bouygue, Jacques Thienpont renamed the estate to L’If in 2010 after acquisition. Following up on tradition, the name was changed to mirror another well-known estate of Thienpont ownership, Le Pin in Pomerol. Le Pin translates as pine tree, while L’If refers to a yew tree, clearly visible on the label. The vineyards lie in the vicinity of Château Troplong Mondot and and Châtau Valandrau in Saint-Émilion. The blend consists of around 70% merlot and 30% cabernet franc. Between 2010 and 2020, no more than one thousand cases per vintage were released.

Toscana IGT ‘Colore’ Bianco 2021
Bibi Graetz, Fiesole
The idea of starting a winery of his own culminated in the 1990s when Bibi Graetz still worked his parents parcels. In the year 2000 he founded the winery on the hills of Fiesole, northeast of Florence. A member of an artistic family, Graetz attended the Accademia d’Arte in Florence and now designs the labels for his own cuvées. Without a formal education in winemaking, he learned the craft from farmers on Isola del Giglio. Within two decades, Graetz managed to elevate his wines to cult level. Particularly known for his red Sangiovese cuvées, Colore and Testamatta ‘Crazy Head’ rosso, his bianco Ansonica counterparts are rising in popularity.
Brunello di Montalcino ‘Cerretalto’ 2010
Casanova di Neri, Montalcino

This single cru parcel enjoys a unique microclimate in an amphitheater shape. Only released in vintages deemed worthy of high enough quality, the second vintage followed in 1986. The Cerretalto cuvée received 100 WS points for the 2001, 100 WE points for the 2007 and 100 JS and RP points for the 2010 vintage. For another estate’s single cru vineyard Tenuta Nuova, the 2006 was awarded 100 JS points and the 2010 vintage 100 RP points.
