In the room

We advise everyone to attend the auction in person, because the tension of a live auction is incomparable.

After the auction we ask you to return your bidding paddle to our administration. All prices are exclusive of a 22% buyer’s premium.

Both our wine auctions in Amsterdam and Singapre can be followed live online.

If you want to participate in the wine auction through our online auction platform, you must register in advance.

Authentication

Prior to appearing at our auctions, every bottle undergoes an authentication processes. We have partnered with Winefraude.com, a dedicated platform focused on combating wine fraud. Leveraging our expertise and collaborating with other esteemed wine experts, we have developed a comprehensive database to verify the authenticity of every offering.

Provenance

A substantial portion of our offerings originate directly from chateaux, reputable business cellars, and esteemed private collections. We meticulously verify the provenance of each bottle. Once verified, the bottles are securely stored in our temperature-controlled cellars located in Amsterdam or Singapore.

Condition reporting

Our team of experts assess various factors including the bottle's label, capsule, cork, and fill level to determine its condition accurately. The established condition of each lot is clearly stated in our online listings and catalogues, for this we use abbreviations. Please consult our detailed explanation of our condition abbreviations.

Pricing

We maintain extensive databases of past auction results, allowing us to reference historical data to establish pricing benchmarks and market sentiment. This data-driven approach ensures that our prices are of fair market value.
